Choctails - Chocolate Truffle Making Workshop with a Boozy Twist
Dive in to a world of chocolate with our two hour chocolate making workshop. Come along, try your hand at a new skill and have a fun-filled time with our team of chocolatiers experimenting with boozy flavour combinations, tasting and creating chocolate truffles or caramels to take home with you to enjoy. Experiment with culinary alcohols, artisan liqueurs and lots of other ingredients to create your unique selection of choc-tails - a cocktail ganache in it's chocolate home!
The evening will start with a brief chat about participants chocolate making experiences and goals and set out a plan for the evening including a forum for questions for our team of chocolatiers. During the workshop, each participant will be guided through the process of making approximately twenty individually hand designed, developed and created chocolate truffles, which they can take home packaged in a professional, ribbon-tied, clear plant-based cellophane bag. There will be lots of opportunities along the way to sample, taste and share ideas and experiences.
This workshop is aimed to give participants the skills and confidence that they need to work with and develop flavour combinations and explore our wide-ranging selection of chocolatey flavouring options.
The workshop will last approximately two hours and will take place at The Chocolate Shed, Yew Tree Farm Craft Centre, Wootton Wawen B95 6BY. Guests of any age and experience are welcome (although alcohols will be offered as a chocolate flavouring for over 18s only) and all tuition and materials are included within the cost of the workshop.
You are encouraged to bring your own bottle to enjoy as a drink during the workshop (you may also wish to bring your own glasses too - glass is not permitted in the kitchen area of our workshop).
Most dietary requirements can be catered for. If you have specific requirements please contact us prior to booking to ensure that your particular needs can be catered for.

In view of the current covid situation we would like to reassure you that we are currently operating as a covid-secure, fully risk-assessed venue. Bookings are fully transferable should covid become an issue. More information can be found on or website or please do contact us if you would like to discuss this further. If for any reason the workshop is no longer able to run we will, of course, offer an alternative as soon as we are able to go ahead again and your booking will, of course, be fully transferable to any of our chocolate-making experiences.
