1st June 14:00 (Mixed ages)
A fun-filled (and very yummy!) hour of chocolate making for tweens and teens with an seasonal twist!
Taking place in our Warwickshire chocolaterie, those attending will have the opportunity to try their hand (and sticky fingers!) at chocolate making.
At the end of the workshop, all budding mini chocolatiers will take home their delicious chocolate-y masterpieces to enjoy (if they make it that far!)
Please read on for more details!
Length of workshop: 1 hour (approx.)
Location: This workshop will be hosted at The Chocolate Shed, Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village, Wootton Wawen, B95 6BY.
Each school holiday workshop consists of around an hour of jam-packed chocolate fun!
The teenagers, working with our team of artisan chocolate leaders, will design and create their very own, unique, deliciously chocolate-y treats. All creations will be taken home to share with family or friends but, of course, there's plenty of room for nibbling along the way!
What will the teenagers create?
This workshop will have a seasonal theme. Past May half term workshops have involved spring gardens, Jubilee chocolate gems, woodland wonders and more..! What will you be making this year??? Come along to find out! It's a closely guarded secret until the day!
Can I stay and watch or bring their brother/sister along too?
The price is inclusive of one person. Due to space limitations we request that siblings and parents do not attend unless a space has been reserved for them. However, these tween and teen chocolate making workshops are perfect for a little bit of daughter/son-and-Mum/Dad school holiday bonding fun. If you do wish to attend then you will also create a chocolate masterpiece to take home- please ensure you book a place though, as not to be disappointed.
What age range is this suitable for?
The recommended age range for this session is 8+ years. Older siblings can be accommodated but generally younger siblings may find it tricky to keep up with the pace of workshop pitched for older children. For children under 5 years, we recommend attending one of our parent and child workshops- booking a space for both yourself and them to create chocolate!
My child is allergic to ....
Unless requested in advance, all participants will be using milk and/or white chocolate. We can accommodate most special dietary requirements but will need at least a weeks notice to ensure suitable alternative ingredients are available. If you have any concerns please contact us prior to booking.
Do they need to bring anything with them?
No, everything will be provided on the day, including an apron. We do recommend however that the children don't wear their finest clothes, just in case there is a spillage. We may also be using our specialist cocoa butter paint (for decorating chocolates) and/or felt tips (for customising packaging) during the session.
What happens next?
After booking, one of our team will be in touch before your workshop with a health and safety form for the responsible adult of the attendee to complete. This is just to ensure that our staff are aware of any allergies or relevant medical conditions so that the session is safe as well as lots of fun!
