Exploratory Truffles Workshop. Saturday 1st December at 1900
Come and explore the world of chocolate with our chocolate truffle making workshop. This workshop is for serious chocolate lovers only. Participants will make a large chocolate selection box of at least three different types of chocolate centres including learning chocolate-specific skills like tempering, decorating, rolling, moulding and lots more. The content of the workshop will be guided by the needs of individual participants where possible and there's lots of chocolate fun to be had.
The evening will start with a brief chat about the world of chocolate making and set out a plan for the evening including a forum for questions for our team of chocolatiers. We will then journey together through chocolate centres, fillings and techniques to create something uniquely delicious which can be tailored to the tastes of the individual participant. Our guests should come away with a unique understanding and enough knowledge to begin or further their own experimentation. We will also introduce our guests to some fabulous and exciting single origin chocolate flavours.
The workshop will last approximately two and a half hours and will take place at The Chocolate Shed, Yew Tree Farm Craft Centre, Wootton Wawen B95 6BY. Guests of any age and experience are welcome and all tuition and materials will be provided within the cost of the workshop. We will also have a short break half way through the workshop where refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring a bottle to enjoy during the workshop (you may also wish to bring your own glasses if you do as we are only able to provide plastic tumblers as glass is not permitted in the back kitchen area of our workshop).
Most dietary requirements can be catered for. If you have specific requirements please contact us prior to booking to ensure that your particular needs can be catered for.
We look forward to welcoming you to begin your voyage of chocolate exploration.
