Half Day Ultimate Chocolate Making Workshop 21/09/19 13:00
Come and explore the world of chocolate with our half day ultimate chocolate-making workshop on Saturday 21st September 1-5pm. This workshop is for serious chocolate lovers only and will cover all the main skills you need to become a chocolatier in your own kitchen at home.
The afternoon will start with a brief chat about the world of chocolate and set out a plan for the class, including a forum for questions for our team of expert chocolatiers. The session will be guided by the requirements of its participants and so if you would like to delve into the depths of becoming a master at chocolate tempering, for instance, then this is possible. On the other hand, there will be plenty of time and opportunity to have a go and learn multiple chocolate-specific skills: tempering, decorating, rolling, moulding, piping, truffle making and more...
Not only will you create uniquely delicious and beautiful chocolates, tailored to your specific taste, but we aim for each guest to come away with a unique understanding and enough knowledge to begin or further their own experimentation. Participants will be offered post-workshop online (email) support with their chocolate making if this is something they would like.
The workshop will last approximately four hours and will take place at The Chocolate Shed, Yew Tree Farm Craft Centre, Wootton Wawen B95 6BY. Guests of any age and experience are welcome and all tuition and materials will be provided within the cost of the workshop. We will also have a short break half way through the workshop where refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring a bottle to enjoy during the workshop (you may also wish to bring your own glasses if you do as we are only able to provide plastic tumblers as glass is not permitted in the back kitchen area of our workshop).
