For every event...
- Chocolate tasting session (let us know about allergies in advance!)
- Sally is always happy to answer your chocolate questions, giving you an opportunity to trouble shoot any previous chocolate-making issues you have experienced in the past and seek chocolate advice.
- Tea, coffee or squash for guests, but you are more than welcome to bring a bottle!
- An optional chance to have a private group shopping experience at Henley Chocolates afterwards.
Please note: There is free onsite parking at Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village (EV charging points also available), toilets are located opposite The Chocolate Shed and our building is accessible to those with disabilities (except for large electric wheelchairs. Please let us know prior to the event so we can ensure ease of access on the day).

Demonstration
As well as giving a talk about chocolate, Sally will demonstrate at least one chocolate skill. This may be chocolate tempering and moulding, making a chocolate ganache, making truffles or more. Please let us know on booking if you have a specific request.
The demonstration will include tips on how to achieve the same results at home with standard kitchen equipment and ingredients, common pitfalls and how to avoid them as well as the guided tasting!

Test your knowledge of all things chocolate with a specially designed quiz evening which includes question, picture and tasting rounds!

Be inspired by Sally's journey into the world of chocolate by hearing how first Henley Chocolates and then The Chocolate Shed were founded. Also covered in the talk is a brief history of chocolate, chocolate making and future direction/trends in chocolate. Alongside there will be a guided tasting which may include different types of chocolate or different chocolate truffles/bars/flavours.

We are a group of more than 16 people
Our cosy Chocolate Shed can only host up to 16 people. Sally is more than happy to give a talk with guided tasting or interactive quiz to your group, for numbers greater than 16 in location of your choice.
Please note that we are unable to host demonstrations offsite and there will be an additional cost to cover travel for offsite events.

Traveling to The Chocolate Shed
The best way to reach The Chocolate Shed is by car (or taxi). We are located at Yew Tree Farm shopping village, a short distance along the A3400 out of Stratford upon Avon. You can read more here. Parking is available onsite to the rear of the shopping village. Disabled parking can be found in the courtyard immediately outside our venue.
We are also located a short walk from Wootton Wawen train station- a rural service between Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham.

Can we have a go at making chocolates while we're there?
Our evening demonstrations, talks and quizzes do not include 'hands on' chocolate making.

Can you recommend a place to have dinner before/after the session?
Why not make a day of your visit to The Chocolate Shed? We are located in a beautiful part of the Warwickshire countryside. At Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village there is a lovely array of independent shops and businesses, including The Cowshed cafe (open for lunch) and Yew Tree Farm Shop (excellent take-aways and snacks). Alternatively we recommend The Bull's Head in Wootton Wawen or the short trip to either Henley in Arden or Stratford upon Avon, where there is a wide choice of excellent restaurants.
For those traveling from further afield who may wish to stay overnight there are numerous excellent hotels locally. We can recommend The Arden Hotel, Exclusively Warwickshire, Wootton Park... to name but a few!

During all evening sessions there will be an opportunity for guided tasting. We can cater for most allergies and dietary requirements but will need to be made aware in advance so we have the correct alternatives available.
Please note, all our chocolate contains SOY lecithin- a key ingredient which helps impart its smooth, melt-in-the-mouth flavour and texture.

After completing the booking form, one of our team will be in touch to confirm possible dates and times with you, discuss themes and activities for your session and answer any outstanding questions you may have.
Once you are happy, we ask for a 25% deposit to be paid to secure your booking; the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
After your booking is confirmed we will send you a health and safety form for each participant to complete. This is just to ensure that our staff are aware of any relevant medical conditions and allergies so that your session is safe as well as fun.
