A fun-filled (and very yummy!) hour of creating with chocolate for children with a Christmas twist!
Taking place in our Warwickshire chocolaterie, those attending will have the opportunity to try their hand (and sticky fingers!) at working with chocolate to create their very own chocolate masterpieces.
At the end of the workshop, all budding mini chocolatiers will take home their delicious chocolate-y creations to enjoy (if they make it that far!)
Please read on for more details!
Sold out
Suggested ages: 6-11 years
Length of workshop: 1 hour (approx.)
Location: This workshop will be hosted at The Chocolate Shed, Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village, Wootton Wawen, B95 6BY.
Each school holiday workshop consists of around an hour of jam-packed chocolate fun!
The children, working with our team of artisan chocolate leaders, will design and create their very own, unique, deliciously chocolate-y treats. All creations will be taken home to share with family or friends but, of course, there's plenty of room for nibbling along the way!
What will the children create?
During this workshop, those attending will create and decorate a set of fun, festive Christmas shapes to share with family and friends (if they make it that far!) and a Christmas themed chocolate lollipop.
Can I stay and watch or bring their brother/sister along too?
The price is inclusive of one child. Due to space limitations we request that siblings do not attend unless a space has been reserved for them. Similarly, we cannot accommodate adults during this session in our workshop space but there are a range of shops and food and drink outlets on site for you to enjoy. We know that for the youngest children it can sometimes be difficult to leave their Mum/Dad/Grandparents. If this is the case, we recommend booking places for both them and yourself on one of our parent and child workshops.
What age range is this suitable for?
The recommended age range for this session is 6 to 11 years. Older siblings can be accommodated but generally younger siblings may find it tricky to keep up with the pace of workshop pitched for older children. For children under 5/6 years, we recommend attending one of our parent and child workshops- booking a space for both yourself and them to create chocolate!
My child is allergic to ....
Unless requested in advance, all participants will be using milk and/or white chocolate. We can accommodate most special dietary requirements but will need at least a weeks notice to ensure suitable alternative ingredients are available. If you have any concerns please contact us prior to booking.
Do they need to bring anything with them?
No, everything will be provided on the day, including an apron. We do recommend however that the children don't wear their finest clothes, just in case there is a spillage. We may also be using our specialist cocoa butter paint (for decorating chocolates) and/or felt tips (for customising packaging) during the session.
What happens next?
After booking, one of our team will be in touch before your workshop with a health and safety form for the responsible adult of the attendee to complete. This is just to ensure that our staff are aware of any allergies or relevant medical conditions so that the session is safe as well as lots of fun!
We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice (at least 7 days notice will be given) should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets can be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.
